Radamel Falcao, born 10 February 1986 and nicknamed El Tigre, is Colombia‘s all-time top scorer. He came through the River Plate academy from 2001, joined Porto in 2009, and scored twice in the 2010–11 Europa League final as part of a treble, finishing as the competition’s record scorer that season with 17 goals. Atlético Madrid signed him in August 2011, where he won the Europa League again with two more goals in the final and scored a hat-trick against Chelsea in the UEFA Super Cup. Monaco paid €60 million for him in 2013; after an ACL injury and loan spells at Manchester United and Chelsea, he returned and won the 2016–17 Ligue 1 title with 21 goals.
Most items here are Colombia shirts numbered 9, concentrated heavily in the 2018–19 season. River Plate supplies a few from 2004–06 and Manchester United a pair from his loan year. The gap is significant: neither Porto nor Atlético Madrid is represented, so the seasons that made his European reputation are not available here under his name.
Watch for these. A 1981–82 Roma reissue and a Brazil futsal item also come up in this listing, but they belong to the Brazilian player Falcão, not to Radamel. The Roma piece is also a reissue, meaning a modern reproduction rather than a period shirt. One further entry is a Name Set: printing only, with no shirt included. Condition grades sit between 6/10 and 8/10.
