Seattle Sounders

Seattle Sounders FC was established on 13 November 2007 and began play in 2009 as an MLS expansion side. It is a phoenix club: it replaced a second-division franchise that ran from 1994 to 2008 and carries the name of the original Sounders who played in the NASL from 1974 to 1983. The first MLS match, on 19 March 2009, was a 3–0 win over the New York Red Bulls. Since then the club has won the U.S. Open Cup four times, the Supporters’ Shield in 2014 and the MLS Cup in 2016 and 2019, and in 2022 became the first MLS team to win the modern CONCACAF Champions League. Home matches are played at Lumen Field.

The listing starts in 2009

Everything here dates from the MLS era. Nothing from the NASL or the second-division years survives in the catalogue, and the oldest items are from 2009–10. The 2010s and 2020s carry the listing between them.

More away shirts than home

This is unusual and worth planning around: away shirts outnumber home shirts by a wide margin here, with third shirts, goalkeeper shirts, track jackets, training tops, travel tees and game-day pants making up much of the rest. A large share is marked Authentic, the player-specification cut rather than the replica sold to supporters. Condition grades run from 5/10 to 10/10 and most sit around 8/10, reflecting how recent the stock is. Women’s sizes appear regularly alongside men’s.
