Kasper Schmeichel was born on 5 November 1986 in Copenhagen, the son of the Denmark goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel. He began at Manchester City with loans to Darlington, Bury and Falkirk, made his first-team debut in 2007, then moved on to Notts County in 2009 and Leeds United a year later. Leicester City signed him in 2011, and over eleven years he made 479 competitive appearances there, winning the Championship in 2014, the Premier League in 2016 and the FA Cup and Community Shield in 2021. Spells at Nice, Anderlecht and Celtic followed. He won 120 caps for Denmark.
This is the most important thing on the page. The listing is built from the surname, and the great majority of the shirts here are Manchester United goalkeeper shirts from 1993 to 1998 — those are his father Peter’s, not Kasper’s. Only a small handful of Leicester City items in the listing are actually Kasper’s. If you want the son rather than the father, the club name and the season are what separate them: Manchester United and the 1990s means Peter; Leicester and the 2010s means Kasper.
Every item here is a goalkeeper shirt, all numbered 1. Condition grades run from 5/10 to 9/10 with a typical item around 7/10. Prices are high for the 1990s United keeper shirts, which are among the more sought-after jerseys of that era, and youth sizes appear alongside adult ones.
