Tony Yeboah was a Ghanaian striker, and in England he is remembered for his Leeds United years in the mid-1990s. The stock behind this page is two items, and both are from exactly that period.
One is a 1993-95 Leeds United away shirt, Yeboah #21, graded 8/10 in XL. The other is a 1995-96 Leeds United home long-sleeve shirt, #21, also 8/10, in S. Both are listed at around £240.
Yeboah’s Bundesliga years and his international career leave no trace at all in this catalogue. German league shirts with printed names from the early 1990s are rare in the British second-hand trade, and Ghana shirts of the era barely circulate at all.
Both are graded 8/10, but the 1995-96 is a long-sleeve home shirt in size S and the 1993-95 is a short-sleeve away in XL. Long-sleeve versions were produced in smaller numbers, which tends to lift their value; the larger size does the same for the away shirt. The result is two very different garments arriving at the same figure, which is worth knowing if you have a size in mind.
