Ole Gunnar Solskjær, born 26 February 1973, scored 115 goals in 109 league appearances for Clausenengen before moving to Molde in 1995. Manchester United paid £1.5 million for him in July 1996. Nicknamed the Baby-faced Assassin, he made 366 appearances and scored 126 goals for United, and is remembered above all for the injury-time winner against Bayern Munich in the 1999 Champions League final that completed the treble. A knee injury in 2003 effectively ended his playing career, and he retired in 2007. He won 67 caps for Norway.
The listing here is narrower than his career was. Practically every item is a Manchester United piece carrying the number 20, with one Norway shirt alongside. Home shirts make up the overwhelming majority — away and third versions barely feature at all. Nothing from Clausenengen or Molde appears.
One season dominates the listing: 2006–07, the last full campaign of his career, accounts for most of what is on offer. That shirt is available in a wide spread of sizes from S to XXL, and there are matching shorts as well as shirts. The trade-off is condition. Grades here run from 4/10 to 8/10 and the typical item sits at 5/10, noticeably lower than most of the retro listings on this site. On shirts of this age that usually means print cracking on the name and number rather than damage to the fabric.
