A US connection in the back line

Cameron Carter-Vickers, the USMNT center back, joined Celtic in 2021 and became a regular in title-winning teams, so American fans have had a reason to watch Scottish soccer on Saturday mornings. Robbie Keane, one of the best-known players in MLS history with the LA Galaxy, also had a short loan spell at Celtic Park in 2010.

The hoops, maker by maker

The hoops stay the same, and the details change with each supplier. Umbro made the jersey until 2005, Nike had it for most of the next decade, and New Balance followed after a short Warrior spell. adidas has supplied the club since 2020. The 2012-13 125th anniversary jersey is a popular one-off. Away jerseys come in a wide range of colors, from yellow to black, and they sell as well as the home shirts.

Kyogo, Brown and Larsson

The most printed names on the page are Scott Brown, the long-serving captain, and James Forrest. Henrik Larsson’s number 7 from the early 2000s is close behind. Kyogo Furuhashi and Daizen Maeda lead the recent prints, and Paddy McCourt, Jeremie Frimpong and Kieran Tierney also appear.

Fit notes for American fans

A European medium fits closer to a US small or medium, so size up if you want a loose fit. Older Umbro jerseys are roomier. Every listing shows size and condition.
